Children in Conflict is the only United States-based member
of the War Child Alliance.

War Child was founded in 1993 to respond to the urgent needs of children in the former Yugoslavia during the Bosnian War. Since then it has expanded to 5 countries, and in January of 2024 War Child offices in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom united with CIC as the War Child Alliance. As a fundraising member, our proceeds go directly to War Child programs in 12 countries around the world.
